Series online gratis peke blinders11/21/2022 ![]() In Birmingham, England, in 1919, the PEAKY BLINDERS are known for their lethal habit of sewing razor blades into the brims of their distinctive caps, all the better to head-butt (and maybe blind) their opponents when violence is called for. The last season went off on a bit of a tangent I thought but still good. The only negative I have is that the characters seemed to complain too much about the life they were leading but reaped the benefits and made little attempt to change. If any of those things offend you then it’s probably not for you as there are bucket loads of it. It is very aggressive and violent, lots of sex and drugs and alcohol and all manner of crime, heaps of swearing and cigarette smoking. The story line is interesting, exciting, entertaining, sometimes heart breaking. Character choice is superb with each actor channeling their character. I don’t know how historically accurate it is but the costumes and sets are excellent as well as the filmography. I guess you could say due to the events of the time they are good people who do really bad things but you like them anyway, mostly. Each character has a good story line that supports the main theme. Set just after WW1, 3 brothers return from the war, with varying degrees of PTSD which they deal with in their own particular fashion, and take up a life of crime in a family that seems suited to the lifestyle. I love this show! Season one and two were the best for me but the high quality remained throughout the entire series. Overall, the cinematography, plot, and characters are all interesting to view on the screen. As well as representations on loss, PTSD, etc. There are many instances where the series shows the importance of family and relationships. Although this show has many concepts that aren't suitable for underaged viewers, it has many great messages/topics. If you're still too unsure, maybe watch a couple of episodes, maybe at least 2 (since they're each about an hour long) to decide if the show's too much for your kid(s). Obviously, your kid(s) can skip pass the sex scenes if you're worried about it. For that reason, I don't recommend having your kid(s) watch the show with parental figures because of how awkward the environment would get. I'll admit, I was a little uncomfortable with watching the sex scenes, but it's normal. I first watched this when I was 17 and honestly, I was fine with watching the whole series for what it has to offer. If you don't care if they're exposed to these types of images at around the age of 16, then it's fine. If you don't want your kid(s) to see images of violence (murders, beatings, etc.), sex (full on nudity), drinking, and/or smoking, then don't let them watch this series. Here you are deciding if you should let your kid(s) watch "Peaky Blinders." Well it all comes down to what the show has to offer. ![]()
